Our story
The Blind Bull, Little Hucklow’s youngest independent pub with a long history. We’re situated in the heart of the stunning Peak District and inhabit the site of Britain’s fifth oldest public house. After an extensive renovation, we have restored the 12th century inn to its former glory and created a unique dining space and tap room. We now have a cottage and six gorgeous rooms all newly renovated. We want The Blind Bull to be your newest home from home: a casual and welcoming place to gather and taste Derbyshire’s delicious local produce.
Eat
Join us for a casual meal Downstairs or for an intimate evening Upstairs. Whether Up or Down, we believe in fresh food, seasonally chosen, locally grown and cooked to perfection.
Stay
Soon your visit will be even more memorable. You can now stay at The Blind Bull in either our romantic cottage or one of five individually designed rooms.
‘I’m trying to create a pub I’d want to go to. Nothing over the top, just a comfortable place, passionate about food, where people can come together over an unforgettable meal.’
Raab Dykstra-McCarthy, Owner of The Blind Bull
